About Star Bowen Therapy
Lisa Taffe is a professional and caring bowen therapist and a great believer in natural therapies for well being and health care. Prior to discovering Bowen Therapy she had suffered from intermittent back pain over a number of years, largely caused by long hours working at a desk. On one occasion Lisa endured crippling back pain that was further exacerbated by a Chiropractic treatment and then even further again by an Osteo treatment. At a loss and desperate for help, she was recommended by a colleague to try Bowen Therapy. After only three treatments, all pain was gone. She was so impressed by her results, and the gentle methods by which they were achieved, that she decided to undergo her own training to become a qualified Bowen Therapist to help others achieve a pain free lifestyle.

Lisa obtained her Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy in 2023 and is a registered member of the Bowen Association of Australia. She follows the original Bowtech Bowen Therapy technique as founded by Tom Bowen and is currently undertaking a Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy to further her skills and knowledge.
